VolunTEEN 2013-2014 Programs
2013 Summer Program (June 17 - August 23)
The deadline for VolunTEEN applications for the summer program is Monday, February 18, 2013. Late applications will not be accepted. In addition to a completed application, each applicant is required to provide two reference forms completed and mailed to Rex Volunteer Services by adults (21 years or older, who are not a legal guardian or relative) who have knowledge of the applicant's work habits and character.
2013 -2014 After School Program (September 9, 2013 – May 30, 2014)
Applications for the 2013-2014 After school Program will not be accepted until May 6, 2013. The deadline for VolunTEEN applications for the 2013-2014 After School Program is July1, 2013. Late applications will not be accepted. In addition to a completed application, each applicant is required to furnish two reference forms completed and mailed to Rex Volunteer Services by adults (21 years or older, who are not a legal guardian or relative) who have knowledge of the applicant's work habits and character.
VolunTEEN slots are limited. If the teen is scheduled for an interview, a parent or legal guardian is encouraged to accompany the teen to the interview.
Interviews for the 2013-2014 After School Proram will be July 8-12, 15, 16, 2013. All VolunTEENS selected to participate in the program are required to attend an all-day Rex staff orientation, health screening, and a drug screening.
