Rex Healthcare, a member of UNC Health Care System, a not-for-profit integrated health care system, provides a wide range of healthcare services to the Triangle region of North Carolina from its base in Raleigh. A private, not-for-profit organization, Rex was founded in 1894 by Raleigh tanner, John Rex. Rex Healthcare is a tobacco-free organization.
