Take a Deep Breath
Hatha Yoga
In this 6-week program, you will learn to relax deeply and improve physical strength, mental strength and flexibility. We utilize techniques such as deep breathing, stretching and becoming mindful of your body.
Prenatal Yoga
Prenatal Yoga classes are designed to provide the experience and enjoyment of the integration of physical, mental and emotional well-being for expectant mothers. This prenatal series can help to gently strengthen the uterus and pelvic muscles, improve digestion and exercise the spine - all of which will increase comfort and enhance relaxation. The breathing techniques, stretches and conscious relaxation learned in class promote a healthy pregnancy and help prepare for labor and delivery. Prenatal yoga class also provides an ideal setting for meeting other expectant moms and sharing the unique experiences that come with pregnancy.
Postnatal Hatha Yoga
The big day has arrived and you have a new bundle of joy! And now you can enjoy a unique yoga class, specifically designed to give new moms and babies time to bond and have fun with each other through movement, relaxation and baby massage. This dynamic and nurturing yoga practice was created for your postpartum body and helps tone abdominal muscles and restore strength and flexibility. Babies learn body awareness by exploring movement and massage with mommy. Infants must be between 6-weeks and 6-months old and not yet crawling, rolling or scooting to attend with mommy. A doctor's release is required for mom.
Mindfulness
Learn how to be present in the here and now. Train your mind, body and spirit in mindfulness - a form of meditation. Experience the tranquillity and inward reflection that mindfulness offers as a discipline of the mind, body and spirit.
