Aquatic Physical Therapy

The unique properties of water, such as hydrostatic pressure, buoyancy and joint unloading, provide a safe, therapeutic environment, enabling patients to safely increase range of motion, strength, flexibility and endurance in a biomechanically correct manner. Aquatic therapy can be particularly beneficial for patients with these diagnoses: total knee replacement, total hip replacement, ACL repair, post-surgical shoulder, fibromyalgia, chronic low back pain, post-surgical lumbar, osteoporosis, arthritis and lymphedema.

We offer aquatic physical therapy at the Raleigh, Cary, Garner, and Wakefield Rex Wellness Centers.
