Blood Donor Eligibility Requirements
The basic, minimum requirements for donating blood are as follows:
- Must be 17 years of age
- Must weigh 110 pounds or more
- Must not be taking antibiotics for an infection
- Must be in basic good health
Of course, there are certain medical conditions and/or medications that would prohibit you from making a blood donation.
