Mobile Collections Learn all about how to organize a blood drive, check out a list of upcoming drives near you or send in your own blood drive request. In order to make donating blood as convenient as possible, Rex Blood Services bloodmobiles travel to businesses, churches, schools and other organizations throughout the area. The bloodmobiles are completely self-contained 40 ft. coaches. Inside are two private interview rooms, five reclining donation chairs (each with its own TV/DVD) and a fully stocked refreshment area. Mobile blood drives are designed to fit the needs of both the sponsoring group and Rex Blood Services. Drive times can vary from a full-day blood drive (up to six hours) to a half-day drive (3-4 hours). Assistance is provided to blood drive sponsors to plan, organize and promote their blood drive to ensure its success.
