RALEIGH, N.C. - Rex Healthcare announced today that it has been named to the 2011 Triangle Business Journal's "Best Places to Work" list for the third year in a row. Rex ranked second among companies with 1,000+ employees and placed first among other Triangle-area hospital systems.
Each year, the Triangle Business Journal gives employees throughout the area an opportunity to submit their place of business for consideration and recognizes outstanding employers in the Triangle region.
"We are proud of our culture and work environment that have allowed us to be recognized again by Triangle Business Journal and more importantly by our co-workers," said David Strong, president of Rex Healthcare. "Rex is both an excellent place to receive medical care and an excellent place to work. Physicians, co-workers and volunteers choose to make Rex a part of their family, and that's our greatest honor."
Rex Healthcare continues to be recognized throughout the healthcare industry as a leader in employee relations receiving this honor in 2009 and 2010, as well as being ranked ninth in the U.S. among the 100 hospitals named to the 2009 "Best Places to Work in Healthcare." Last month, Rex Healthcare was also named to Modern Healthcare's Best Places to Work in Healthcare for 2011.
