The breast cancer care team at Rex is made up of radiologists, surgeons, oncologists, experienced clinical staff, and support staff led by the patient navigators. Your care team works with you and your primary care physician to make sure your treatment plan is best for your disease, your goals and your lifefstyle.

All staff physicians are fellowship trained and have completed advanced training in general diagnostic radiology.

Rex Surgical Specialists Breast Surgery Division provides superior surgical breast care with the latest techniques and treatments. All surgeons are members of the American Society of Breast Surgeons.

Patient Navigators
Cancer nurse navigators offer a variety of services to patients just diagnosed with or undergoing treatment for cancer. The role of the navigator is to ensure the highest quality of care possible for patients by serving as an advocate, coordinator of patient care, liaison between patient and provider, educator, troubleshooter and resource coordinator.
