Rex Radiology of Cary offers a convenient and relaxed atmosphere for screening mammograms, DXA scans, diagnostic X-rays and ultrasounds. The Cary campus includes highly sophisticated diagnostic equipment such as a state-of-the-art CT scanner. The CT uses X-rays and computers to generate a three-dimensional image of the body and is used to diagnose and treat a wide range of ailments.
Rex Radiology of Cary also offers magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Using magnetic energy and radio waves to produce images, MRI is excellent at generating images of soft tissue and vessels and is considered the best diagnostic exam for imaging many types of soft tissue including the brain, inner ear, spine, abdomen, pelvis, knee, shoulder and feet.
Computed Tomography (CT)
Monday through Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Appointments available within 24 hours of scheduling.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
Monday through Friday: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Appointments available within 24 hours of scheduling.
Diagnostic Radiology
Monday through Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.Saturday and Sunday: 9 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Ultrasound
Monday through Friday: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Digital Mammography
Monday through Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.To schedule your screening mammogram online, click here.

Monday through Friday: 12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Please note: A valid physician order is required for all diagnostic procedures except screening mammography.
