Rex Primary Care of Cary is an affiliate of UNC Physicians Network (UNCPN) This affiliation offers enhanced access to the full-range of primary care and specialty services in the UNCPN network. UNCPN is a not-for-profit, joint effort between the University of North Carolina Health Care and Rex Healthcare to operate a regional network of physicians that supports the evolving health care needs of the region.
Our office is conveniently located on the Rex Healthcare of Cary campus at the corner of Cary Parkway and Lake Pine Drive, 1515 S.W. Cary Parkway, Suite 200. Patients who would like to make an appointment can call (919) 387-3176.

Rex Primary Care of Cary offers a broad scope of health care services to meet the needs of patients ages 18 and older. The practice's clinical team is lead by Vandana Devalapalli, M.D., FACP.

Shane Hemphill, M.D.
Dr. Hemphill graduated medical school from American University of the Caribbean in St. Maarten, N.A. He completed his residency at Franklin Square Hospital in Rosedale, M.D. In addition to his medical training, Dr. Hemphill belongs to the American Medical Association and American Academy in Anti-aging and Functional Medical. Dr. Hemphill joined Rex in 2012 as an Express Care physician in Holly Springs. |

Vandana Devalapalli, M.D., F.A.C.P. Dr. Devalapalli has 20 years of internal medicine experience. She is certified by the American board of Internal Medicine and a fellow of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Devalapalli has received several industry awards including the Star Award for patient care recognition and the Circle of Quality Service Award for outstanding achievement. Immediately prior to joining Rex Primary Care of Cary, she served as the medical director at Duke Primary Care Harps Mill. In addition to her medical training, Dr. Devalapalli received a masters of health science in clinical leadership from Duke University. |

Marci Brigode, P.A.-C. Ms. Brigode is a certified physician assistant and new to our team at Rex Primary Care of Cary. Marci graduated Seton Hill University in Greenburg, PA with a master's degree of science in physician assistant studies. Ms. Brigode has 8 years experience as a physician assistant. She severed as a physician assistant in Raleigh and Wilmington before joining our team. |
