2012 Rex Hospital Open Charity Ticket Program Application

The Rex Hospital Open is proud to work with regional nonprofit organizations on a special ticket program that will benefit charitable organizations in our community.  The Rex Hospital Open, a Nationwide Tour event, will be held May 31 - June 3, 2012 at TPC Wakefield Plantation in Raleigh.  In 2011, local charities sold over 1,700 tickets to the event resulting in over $17,000 in charitable dollars returning to our community.

The tournament is asking charities interested in participating in the Charity Ticket Program to complete this application and provide a general plan of how they would market and sell tickets to the Rex Hospital Open.  In order to maximize the return from this program, we are requesting charities provide this information as soon as possible. Charities will retain all proceeds from tickets sold.

The participating charities will be selected by tournament staff based on the quality and completeness of the application. If you are interested in being considered this year, please provide us with the information outlined below, as well as a brief (maximum of one page) sales and marketing plan summarizing how your organization will engage with your key stakeholders and the community in selling tickets to our 2012 Nationwide Tour event.  It is recommended that you have a minimum objective of selling at least 50 tickets.
