About Our Care Team

Rex Family Practice of Knightdale offers a broad scope of health care services to meet the needs of patients of all ages. Our entire staff is trained to assist you in the detection, treatment and prevention of illness. We look forward to a long and healthy relationship with you and your family and encourage you to express concerns or problems regardless of the issue.

William Grant, M.D. 
Dr. Grant leads the care team at Rex Family Practice of Knightdale. He graduated medical school from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, AL. He completed his internship with Carilion Health Systems at Roanoke Memorial Hospital and residency from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. Dr. Grant served as a U.S. Naval officer. He enjoys spending time with his wife and four children and is an avid outdoorsman.
 
 
Tracy Kendrick, M.D.
Dr. Kendrick joined Rex Family Practice of Knightdale from Duke University Health System where she served as a physician at Durham Regional Hospitals. Dr. Kendrick graduated medical school from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport, LA. She completed her internship and residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. Dr. Kendrick is board certified in internal medicine and pediatrics. Dr. Kendrick has a special interest in adolescent medicine and women’s health. She lives in Cary with her husband and two dogs.

 

 

Ananya B. Sen, M.D.
Dr. Sen is board certified in Family Medicine. She started her double residency in medicine and pediatrics at Metrohealth Medical Center in Cleveland, OH and completed her family medicine residency at the University of North Dakota. She has practiced adult and pediatric medicine, low-risk obstetrics and inpatient care. She has held medical and academic positions at both Duke University and the University of North Carolina School of Medicine since 2006. Her  interests are in the treatment of hypertension, diabetes and depression. She is a naturalist at heart with a continued focus in women’s health and obesity.


Payment & Insurance

After-Hours

During regular office hours our telephone is answered by our staff. After-hours and on weekends, our answering service receives calls and forwards them to the covering board-certified family physician.

If you are having an emergency, including chest pain, shortness of breath or abdominal pain call 911. If your need is not severe, please wait until regular office hours to contact us.

Payment & Insurance

We accept Medicare and most standard insurance coverage. For payment, we accept cash, checks, MasterCard® and Visa®.
