Mail and Flower Delivery
Rex volunteers deliver mail and flowers to patients throughout the hospital.
Mail Delivery
Rex volunteers deliver mail and packages to patients Monday through Friday. If a patient has been discharged, all mail will be forwarded to the patient's home address.
To mail letters and packages, U.S. mailboxes are located outside in the front of the patient tower entrance. For a small fee, you can also send packages while you are a patient.
Flower Delivery
Rex volunteers deliver flowers that have been ordered through a florist to patients Monday through Friday after 2 p.m. If a patient has been discharged, flowers are returned to the florist so that a home delivery can be made. Flowers are not delivered to patients in the Critical Care Units. Flower arrangements can be ordered for a patient or co-worker from the Korner Gift Shop.
