Cancer Navigator Program
Cancer nurse navigators offer a variety of services to patients just diagnosed with or undergoing treatment for cancer. The role of the navigator is to ensure the highest quality of care possible for patients by serving as an advocate, coordinator of patient care, liaison between patient and provider, educator, troubleshooter and resource coordinator.
Rex Cancer Center offers cancer navigation for the following types of cancer: breast, gastrointestinal (GI) and thoracic (lung). For more information about our cancer navigation program, please contact one of the navigators listed below. If your type of cancer is not listed, please contact the Rex Cancer Center at (919) 781-3105 to find out about specialists that can assist you.
