RALEIGH, N.C. – Rex Healthcare announces the opening of Rex Ear, Nose and Throat Specialists in Cary, led by Dr. John Garside, a long-time and well-respected Cary physician. The new practice will provide a wide range of advanced medical and surgical services for diseases and disorders that affect the ears, nose, sinuses and throat.
"Dr. Garside's practice is an excellent addition to our team because of his strong track record of providing compassionate and quality care for Cary patients," said Steve Burriss, Rex Healthcare's chief operating officer.
Dr. Garside began practicing in Cary 10 years ago and has a long partnership with Rex Surgery Center of Cary. "Joining Rex will help us improve access to comprehensive care for patients close to home," Dr. Garside said. "We'll be able to expand the services we offer under one roof."
The practice will offer comprehensive audiology services including hearing aids, as well as speech, voice and swallowing therapy. For patient convenience, Dr. Garside also will be able to provide more in-office procedures including sinus treatments. As part of UNC Health Care, the practice will give patients more access to research on new therapies and clinical trials at one of the world's top academic medical centers.
