Rex Hematology Oncology Associates Opens New Raleigh Office

Rex-UNC Cancer Care Continues to Expand Care and Services Available for all Patients

RALEIGH, N.C. – Rex-UNC Cancer Care is proud to announce the opening of Rex Hematology Oncology Associates at Blue Ridge, a new clinic conveniently located across the street from Rex Hospital’s Raleigh campus.

The new clinic, which opened Oct. 1 and is now accepting new patients, offers patients comprehensive cancer care in a healing, nurturing environment and an easily accessible location. "We are pleased to welcome this team of excellent caregivers to our provider family," said Chad Lefteris, Rex's vice president of operations. "We know that patients will benefit from their expertise and compassion."

The clinic is led by three long-standing community physicians with more than 70 years of combined experience who have joined the Rex-UNC Cancer team: Dr. Roy Cromartie, Dr. Alan Kritz and Dr. Mark Yoffe. The physicians were most recently affiliated with Cancer Centers of North Carolina and have collaborated for many years with Rex-UNC Cancer Care providers.

"Rex-UNC has a long history of providing top quality cancer treatment and support services to patients in Wake County and beyond," said Dr. Kritz. "We look forward to partnering with Rex and UNC surgeons, navigators, radiologists, radiation oncologists, nutritionists, social workers, genetics counselors and others in a collaborative manner to provide the best care for the patients we serve."

Rex Hematology Oncology Associates at Blue Ridge, located at 2605 Blue Ridge Road, Suite 190, Raleigh, offers physician consults, chemotherapy, medical oncology lab testing, access to patient support services and more. The clinic the newest facility within Rex-UNC Cancer Care, which provides life-saving treatment and support at Rex Cancer Center in Raleigh and Wakefield, the N.C. Cancer Hospital and UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center in Chapel Hill, and satellite clinics in Garner, Clayton, Smithfield and Cary.
