RALEIGH, N.C. - Triangle Physician Network (TPN) announces the addition of Riverbend Family Medicine to its network of primary care practices. The addition of Riverbend, led by board-certified family physician, Ley Barnett, M.D., marks TPN's first expansion into Fuquay-Varina, one of the fastest growing towns in Wake County.
TPN is a joint effort between Rex Healthcare and UNC Health Care that operates a regional network of physicians to expand the system's ability to support the evolving health-care needs of this region.
"We are very pleased to welcome Dr. Barnett and the care team at Riverbend Family Medicine," said Bob Ricker, executive administrative director of TPN. "By continuing to expand our network into new communities, we are able to better serve our patients closer to their homes."
TPN primary care practices coordinate with the healthcare system's electronic medical records, operational support and specialty care providers to give patients access to a robust network of services that are part of UNC/Rex.
Dr. Barnett has expanded her Riverbend practice in response to significant growth in the area, and is now aided by two physician assistants, Emily Parker and Jennifer Podgurski. Riverbend provides quality primary medical care to patients ranging in age from infants to the elderly. The practice is located at 1006 Procure Street, Suite 100, Fuquay-Varina. To schedule an appointment, call (919) 577-9952.
