Ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS)
Ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) is the growth of abnormal cells in the milk ducts of the breast. It is a very early form of noninvasive breast cancer.
DCIS is seen as small calcium deposits (microcalcifications) on a mammogram.
