RALEIGH, N.C. — The National Research Corporation has awarded Rex Healthcare with its Consumer Choice Award, making this the ninth consecutive year Rex has been recognized.
Rex is the only hospital in Wake County to win the award and one of 10 recipients in North Carolina. The National Research Consumer Choice Award honors the hospitals with the best quality and reputation, based on a nationally syndicated study of more than 250,000 consumers in more than 300 markets throughout the U.S.
"We are honored to receive the Consumer Choice Award again this year," said Chad Lefteris, vice president of support services. "Rex Healthcare continues to commit to excellence by providing our patients with quality healthcare and ensuring we exceed expectations of the services they receive from Rex."
The Consumer Choice Award winners are selected from the nation's most comprehensive, nationwide consumer healthcare profile, the National Research Corporation Market Insights/Ticker survey. Since 1996, the National Research has awarded hospitals whose consumers have recognized them for providing quality healthcare services.
The recipients of the 2012/2013 Consumer Choice Award will be named in this month's issue of Modern Healthcare magazine. For more information about the award visit: nationalresearch.com/about/consumer-choice-awards/.
