Rex Healthcare Announces Rex Hospital Open Charity Ticket Program

Program Gives Local Charities Opportunity to Raise Money for Their Organization's Cause

RALEIGH, N.C. - Rex Healthcare announced today the launch of the Rex Hospital Open Charity Ticket Program to benefit regional nonprofit organizations. In celebration of the tournament, a Nationwide Tour event, local charitable groups have the opportunity to sell tickets to the Rex Hospital Open, held May 31 - June 3 at TPC Wakefield Plantation in Raleigh, N.C. Each charity will retain all proceeds from tickets sold.

To participate in the Charity Ticket Program, Rex Healthcare invites interested 501(c)(3) organizations to complete an application and provide a general plan of how they would market and sell tickets to the Rex Hospital Open. In order to maximize the return from this program, it is recommended that each organization have a minimum objective of selling at least 50 tickets.

In 2011, local organizations sold more than 1,700 tickets to the Rex Hospital Open which helped raise more than $17,000 in charitable dollars returning to the community.
