Mended Hearts

Mended Hearts is a national cardiovascular group that provides ongoing education and support to cardiovascular patients. They also visit newly diagnosed cardiovascular patients at UNC REX Hospital.

Members listen, share their stories, learn from medical professionals, and volunteer to speak with other heart patients about lifestyle changes, depression, recovery, and treatment. Each meeting also features a new topic presented by a featured speaker.

Mended Hearts meets at the NC Heart and Vascular Hospital next to the Medical Office Building at 2800 Blue Ridge Road in the Multi-Purpose room (check in with the receptionist for directions) on the third Monday of every month (view meeting schedule). The group begins with social time at 6:30 pm and the meeting runs from 7 pm - 8 pm.

Cardiac survivors and their friends and family members are welcome to attend.
