Home Care Services

In some cases, you may need continued care after your hospital stay or while recovering from an illness or a disability. Home Care allows you to receive the skilled services you need, from the comfort of your own home.

Available Home Care Services

Relax and focus on your recovery while receiving exceptional care from the highly trained and compassionate staff you’ve come to trust at UNC Health Rex and UNC Health Care.

At the request of your physician, you may receive a wide range of skilled services such as:

• Intermittent Skilled Nursing
• IV Therapy
• Occupational Therapy
• Physical Therapy
• Respiratory Therapy
• Speech Therapy

If you are receiving a skilled service, your doctor may also advise you to take advantage of additional services such as nutritional counseling, telehealth, medical social work, or home health aides.

In addition to providing visiting staff seven days a week, members of our skilled nursing staff are on call to answer questions and address your concerns after normal business hours.

UNC Health Rex Home Care Services offers care to patients in Wake County and portions of Johnston, Harnett and Franklin counties.
