Greek Yogurt with Honey Thyme Walnuts
Serves 4 (calories, carb, protein will vary with Greek vs Plain non fat/low fat yogurts)
Ingredients:
- 2 teaspoons unsalted butter or oil
- ¼ cup chopped walnuts
- ½ teaspoon dried or 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
- 2 tablespoons good quality mild honey
- 2 cups nonfat plain Greek yogurt
Directions:
- Melt butter/oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add walnuts and stir until just toasted and beginning to brown.
- Remove from the heat.
- Stir in thyme quickly, then add honey and stir to coat walnuts.
- Divide yogurt onto bowls and spoon honeyed walnuts over the top.
