Grilled Okra and Grilled Romaine

Ingredients

  • Fresh okra - washed, 3 cups
  • Olive oil, Romano or salad dressing optional

Directions

Heat grill, place okra in basket or on grill until brown and slightly charred.
Remove and top with favorite low-cal dressing or just drizzle with olive oil and fresh shredded Romano.

Ingredients

  • Romaine lettuce, 1-2 heads, leaves separated washed
  • Lemon, 1 each
  • Romano cheese, 3T (optional)
  • Directions
  • Gently pat dry the romaine, rub with olive oil.

Heat grill, place romaine leaves or on grill until brown and slightly charred.
Remove from grill. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over, drizzle with olive oil and fresh shredded Romano.
