  • 3 cups of cooked chick peas
  • 1/3 cup of tahini
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2/3 cup of hot water
  • 2 teaspoons of cumin powder
  • 6 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoons of salt


  1. Add all the ingredients except hot water into the blender and start to blend.
  2. Gradually add hot water and continue to blend until it the mixture is smooth.
  3. Transfer hummus into a bowl and serve with pita

Yield : 10-12 servings
