- 3 cups of cooked chick peas
- 1/3 cup of tahini
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 2/3 cup of hot water
- 2 teaspoons of cumin powder
- 6 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 teaspoons of salt
- Add all the ingredients except hot water into the blender and start to blend.
- Gradually add hot water and continue to blend until it the mixture is smooth.
- Transfer hummus into a bowl and serve with pita
