Pakistani Kima

  • 3 T. olive oil
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1 # ground beef or turkey
  • 1 T curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dash pepper
  • dash each of cinnamon, ginger, turmeric
  • 2 can diced canned tomatoes
  • 2 potatoes, diced
  • 2 c. fresh or frozen green beans

Sauté onion and garlic in oil till tender.  Add ground meat and brown well.  Add remaining ingredients and simmer 25 minutes.  Serve with rice.
