Our ten physicians are board-certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine, and many have also received advanced training in therapeutic endoscopy. As a practice, we are a leader in the detection and staging of many types of cancer, including some that originate outside of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract.

Procedure Preparations

There are special preparations for each of the GI procedures we perform. These preparations range from a period of fasting for most upper GI procedures to invasive bowel cleansing for colonoscopies. The purpose of these preparations is to ensure you have the safest and most comprehensive exam possible. Please refer to the specific instructions provided by your physician to make sure you will be prepared completely on the day of your procedure. If you have any questions related to your preparation instructions, please call the office and speak with our triage nurse.

Our physicians have been in practice in the Raleigh area for 30 years. Our physicians are board certified in GI/Internal Medicine, and have advanced endoscopic training. Our practice offers medical care for your Gastroenterology and Hepatology problems, as well as endoscopy services.

Our physicians are on staff at UNC REX Healthcare and Raleigh Endoscopy Center (an ambulatory surgery center for GI endoscopy).

If you have been referred to our office by another physician, we must have your records prior to your appointment.

Endoscopy Centers

Raleigh Endoscopy Centers offer outpatient endoscopic facilities, advanced screening and therapeutic endoscopy using state-of-the-art Olympus endoscopes with high definition resolution. In addition, we utilize advanced Narrow Band Imaging (NBI), which is used for evaluation of potential dysplastic/ cancerous tissue (Barrett’s esophagus, IBD surveillance) and for evaluation of flat polyps. Raleigh Endoscopy Center is an ASGE recognized facility, which is the only national program recognizing quality and safety in the practice of GI endoscopy.

Our team of gastroenterologists serves the greater Wake County area with three convenient locations in Raleigh, North Raleigh and Cary. Our community coverage provides access to critical colon cancer screenings and a full range of endoscopy services where patients receive quality care in a highly efficient, patient-centered setting.
